GECCO 2015 Industrial Challenge

GECCO (Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference), organized by the ACM’s special interest group in evolutionary computation, is one of the largest conferences in the field of genetic and evolutionary computation. Every year, GECCO holds an industrial challenge for Computational Intelligence researchers and practitioners to compete on difficult real-world problems provided by industry partners from various fields. The competition of 2015, which was organised by SPOTSeven Lab, Cologne University of Applied Sciences, involved recovering missing data from a central heating system.

Farzad Noorian's submissions to the challenge was awarded the first place.

Here you can find Farzad's presentation slides and its video for GECCO 2015 competition session.
